transfer opportunities

Preparing projects for commercialisation, participation and transfer.

We develop selected projects to the point where they can be assessed as structured commercial assets. At that stage, various routes may become available depending on the project’s evidence base, ownership position, technical requirements, market route and commercial readiness.

Transfer options include licensing opportunities, investor and strategic partnership participation, in-house spin-off formation or model acquisition / controlled IP transfer.

Route readiness

Structured project asset

Evidence, model logic, validation and controlled documentation.

Commercialisation route

Defined pathway for launch, licensing, partnership, transfer or adoption.

Controlled external discussion

Appropriate commerical projection materials for partners, investors or acquiring parties.

01 / Strategic Progression

Transfer Options

A project’s route depends on its ownership position, evidence base, readiness level, funding requirement, implementation burden and the type of external party best placed to progress it.

01

Licensing Opportunity

A licensing route allows a selected party to use a defined project asset, model, method, technology, framework, document set or commercial system under controlled terms.

Suitable where Augscape retains ownership or strategic control, while another party is better placed to deploy, distribute or apply the asset.

02

Investor or Strategic Partnership Participation

A participation route allows selected investors, funders, operators or strategic partners to support development, launch, adoption or scale.

Suitable where the project has commercial potential but requires capital, market access, technical capability, operational infrastructure or sector credibility.

03

In-House Spin-Off Formation

A spin-off route creates a dedicated project vehicle around the opportunity, allowing the project to develop with its own operating structure, governance, funding route and commercial focus.

Suitable where the project has enough scale, specificity and growth potential to justify a standalone venture.

04

Model Acquisition or Controlled IP Transfer

An acquisition or controlled transfer route may involve the sale, assignment or structured handover of defined intellectual property, project materials, model assets, documentation or commercial rights.

Suitable where another party is clearly better positioned to own, operate, commercialise or integrate the project.

02 / Packaged Opporunities

Transfer Assessment Packs

Transfer discussions are supported by structured materials that help selected parties understand the project, assess the opportunity and decide whether they want to participate.

The pack is designed to support serious review without overexposing the asset before the route, terms and receiving party are understood.

08 / Control

Access and transfer control

03 / Controlled process

Commercial Discussions

Transfer discussions usually begin with a high-level review of the opportunity, the project route and the type of participation being considered. The aim is to establish whether there is a credible fit before deeper materials are shared.

Where alignment exists, Augscape may move into a controlled discussion process. This may include commercial assumptions, forecast materials, market sizing, model logic, implementation requirements, route options and transfer boundaries.

Materials may be shared in stages. Access depends on the receiving party, the seriousness of the discussion, the sensitivity of the asset and the proposed route. The process is designed to support meaningful assessment without overexposing the project before commercial terms are understood.

If the opportunity remains aligned, discussions may progress toward licensing, investor or strategic participation, spin-off support, model acquisition or controlled IP transfer.

Typical progression

01

Initial screening

High-level review of the opportunity, route fit and type of participation being considered.

02

Controlled review

Selected materials are shared where there is a credible fit and a suitable discussion basis.

03

Route discussion

The parties assess whether licensing, participation, spin-off support or transfer is the correct route.

04

Commercial terms

Commercial structure, access level, participation basis and transfer boundaries are defined.

05

Diligence and documentation

Supporting materials, agreements, diligence items and route-specific documentation are prepared.

06

Agreement, participation or transfer

The opportunity moves into the selected route, subject to final terms and documentation.
